Overseas Links Meeting
On this page you can see a collection of photographs taken at our December 2014 Meeting as members focused on their Overseas Links.
It was a wonderful evening organised by Esther Muchena and Irene Fitchett who provided a variety of foods from Africa and Europe.
Members dressed in outfits as a mark of appreciation to our Overseas Links who had gifted the costumes. The evening was enriched by sharing reflections and learning about how our Overseas Links and others reach out with God’s love to their neighbours. The privilege of knowing and being inspired by the work of our sisters in Christ is a delight beyond words. Prayers and singing praises to our Lord were led by Linah, Esther’s Mum who was leaving Glasgow to return to Harare the following day.

What a joy to receive these beautiful photographs. Mary Sumner’s purpose and objectives were displayed with unity and love in families across the globe. I am most grateful to God for the privilege granted me, my President in the Diocese of Lagos Mainland to be linked to such wonderful, loving and caring family of MU Diocese of Glasgow & Galloway. Your warmth and fellowship every time we meet will remain in my memory for life. I feel honoured and humble that you wore our costume for that special evening. God bless you all. Olu xx
