WWP in St Andrews Diocese 2009

Worldwide President at Perth . .

Mrs Rosemary Kempsell, our World Wide President, was the guest preacher at St Ninian's Cathedral on Sunday 24th May.   She spoke of her travels to many parts of the world where MU is very active, giving examples of the work done by dedicated members.

Many young families were in church as four children were baptised.  It was therefore very appropriate, against a background of lots of happy noise from children, to hear her speak about promoting family life.

Coffee and a beautifully iced cake showing the logo, a celtic cross and a welcome to Rosemary was shared with the whole congregation.  This was followed by a bring and share lunch for MU members.  Our members were greatly encouraged by Rosemary's enthusiasm for the work of the Mothers' Union and enjoyed the opportunity to meet her

. . . And Stirling.

Later in the day she visited Holy Trinity, Stirling, for an evening service which was followed by an opportunity to meet members of the new Forth Valley Branch over refreshments.
